As an event planner, I find nothing more exciting than taking care of everything that comes to mind with the organization of trips and events.
Ever since 1990, I feel most comfortable on the waters of Amsterdam, where I have built up a large and relevant network. It consists out of hotels, restaurants and transport companies, but also includes event locations and activity centres. In addition, this network is supplemented with a decent dose of knowledge and experience gained over the years.
We may have been in contact before, namely through Classic Boat Tours. My brother Frank and I have been in charge of this beautiful family business for many years already. Our beautiful classic saloon boats are located at the iconic Amstel Hotel.
Following the increasing demand from our customers to organize other activities besides sailing, Marvellous Meetings & Events was born. I happily arrange anything and everything! From making restaurant reservations, to booking special meeting locations or hotel rooms, to handling payments. Full of energy, I like to think along with you and advise you throughout the preparation phase, in order to ultimately put together the best program.

Marvellous Meetings & Events stands for short lines and clear communication. Thanks to our other company, Classic Boat Tours, we know better than anyone what it’s like to organize events last-minute. Extraordinary, intimate and luxurious cruises are amongst our specialties. Hereby, we also offer a choice from the dishes of our preferred partners, such as hotels and restaurants on the water. Alternatively, you can go with a special menu, personally composed by our own chef Andy.

At Marvellous Meetings & Events, we like to keep things straight. Everything is possible, but our approach is nice and easy "down to earth". We distinguish ourselves by allowing people to enjoy the small things in life. For example, we are more than happy to let our guests discover Amsterdam from the water over a nice boat trip, or enjoying an intimate dinner with friends and family at a special location.
Of course, we can also go “all-out”.
Spectacular company events, crazy office parties or original workshops are all part of the program. At Marvellous Meetings & Events, the possibilities are truly endless. This is where the network comes in handy again!

If desired, someone from the team is present on location to ensure that everything runs smoothly. When a lot of logistics have to be done, such as the complete make-over of an existing location, we understand that it is nice to have a fixed point of contact.
